Contracted by Boulder County Public Health (BCPH), Omni guided a dynamic public health improvement process centered on mental/behavioralhealth. The work began with a comprehensive Community Health Assessment (CHA), blending secondary data analysis with insights gathered from prior community engagement efforts. A dedicated workgroup—composed of practitioners deeply connected to underrepresented communities—helped shape the direction and ensure that equity remained central throughout the process.

The planning phase brought partners together through a half-day strategic session with BCPH staff and a thoughtfully designed interactive community event that invited both youth and adult residents to weigh in on proposed strategies. The resulting Public Health Improvement Plan not only reflects diverse community perspectives, but also builds on existing partnerships, identifying clear priorities, collaborative action steps, and measurable indicators for progress.
