Soberlink Research Study

Soberlink has been supporting individuals in their recovery from alcohol use since 2011. To strengthen its scientific evidence base, Soberlink partnered with Omni in 2019 to conduct a rigorous outcomes study focused on participants enrolled in the Share program—a feature that allows users to share real-time, reliable BAC data with a recovery circle of trusted individuals such as loved ones, sponsors, or licensed therapists.
The study aimed to gain deeper insight into participants’ experiences with the technology, examine both short- and long-term sobriety and health outcomes, and assess the specific impact of including a licensed therapist in the recovery process.
