The Colorado Family Support Assessment 2.0 (CFSA 2.0) just received an "A – Psychometrics Well-Demonstrated" rating from the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare (CEBC), the field's leading resource for vetting the tools that measure family strengths and needs.
Omni co-developed the CFSA 2.0 with the Family Resource Center Association (FRCA) as a practical, reliable way to track family strengths, needs, and progress across 14 domains, including economic security, health, and the protective factors that guard against child maltreatment. Today, Family Strengthening and Support programs across the country use it as their outcome tool.
CEBC's "A" rating is its highest mark for a measurement tool, reserved for instruments backed by multiple peer-reviewed studies that confirm strong reliability and validity. For the CFSA 2.0, that evidence base now includes three published studies, with a third examining how consistently the tool performs across different populations, time periods, and geographies.
