Samantha Barron

Sam is a Learning & Development Manager at OMNI, specializing in the Children & Families content area, and supporting communities and organizations with strategic planning, training, and coaching. She is skilled in community outreach and engagement, employee training and development, and collaborative problem-solving. Sam is deeply passionate about building authentic relationships and working in true collaboration with those impacted by inequities. Prior to joining OMNI in 2021, Sam was Program & Grant Manager for Family & Youth Initiatives (prevention division of Chaffee County Human Services), where she managed and ensured the implementation fidelity of evidence-based prevention programming for youth and families in Chaffee County, Colorado. Sam is a SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice) member in the Central Colorado chapter, and a member of the Substance Abuse Regional Coalition, the Chaffee County Health Coalition, and the Chaffee County Youth Alliance. Outside of work, Sam enjoys rafting as the captain of the US Masters Women's Rafting Team and has been learning to sail. She also loves to travel and explore new areas learning about different cultures.
